27 Dec marks the 1st year since attack on Gaza. These ppl are encountering red tape, bureaucracy and bullying even though they are on a peace mission to bring supplies. this time is the anniversary of the attack on Gaza so spare a thought, visit these sites, contribute if you can, and remember most of all, those people simply have the right to food, safety and protection for being human, and should not be denied it because of what race or religion they are.
The untold story
For some reason, apart from the NST, other mainstream papers and the online news sites are not covering this epic journey of some organisation called Viva Palestina~a multinational and multifaith grouping of people in about 200 vehicles~ even though there are Malaysians in the convoy as well. Its funny how we all talk bout peace and agree its important but when its time to contribute ....everybody (including me sometimes) just look away, maybe because we ignore what we couldn't see in front of us and pass it of as something that dont concern us. Walaupun hidup beribu tahun kalau tak sembahyang apa guna.....kalau sembahyang hari2 tak buat baik tak guna jugak.
